Carinthia's most popular sleeping bag, the Tropen is a dynamic 2-3 season bag with a perfect balance between warmth and weight. Light enough to keep you comfortable on hot nights but with it's G-Loft insualtion, there is plenty in reserve when the temperature drops. Take it to 0c with the addition of the Grizzly fleece liner or combine it with the Defence 4 to make an all-seson bag system. The tropen also features an integral insect bar that buttons away when not in use. Available in Olive RAL 7013 only and two sizes for height os 185cm and 200cm.

Quality Bag!
The Carinthia Tropen is well made with consistent stitching and solid main zips. It includes a fly net which is convenient and tucks away into the rim of the bag; be aware that it uses a lightweight zip so zipping it up and unzipping should be done with care. It works down to +5 Celsius Degrees as suggested. I was warm and comfortable with base layers and polyester thermal liner at 0. This is a three season bag and I would suggest a winter bag for below 0 as I had to also add a summer bag to keep me warm at -5. Far better than the Recon Series of sleeping bags. 41" chest, 34" waist, 173cm tall at 80kg; I can fit myself and a half in the bag.
