Version four of the MIG 4.0 jacket brings you GORE-TEX technology in the form of the new IR Camouflage Windstopper® fabric. Recent operational use has shown that IR camouflage is increasingly important. Carinthia has used high-tech design, IR Cordura® panels and compliant YKK® zippers with the same IR properties as the fabric, and made sure they are covered when not in use. Core of the MIG 4.0's performance is the G-LOFT® Memory Insulation, a bi-component fibre that drives moisture away from your body and out through the GORE WINDSTOPPER® outer. ISO Mapping places exactly the right amount of insulation in the right places, keeping MIG 4.0 warmer, but less bulky, easier to operate in, and retaining a compact packing size. Anyone can stuff more insulation in to make it warmer, but they can't map the right amount of insulation to the areas where it is needed. Wear comfort is greatly improved with the new stand-alone collar, lined with soft thermofleece.
