Shipping policy

We ship with Australia Post and use Signature on Delivery service for most items.

Orders are generally shipped withing 48 hours acceptance, however sometimes it may be longer before they are dispatched.   Average shipping times vary with size and weight and shipping times to your address can be found on Australia Post's website.   Please check them to ensure that the shiping times are suitable for your needs.

If you require express post, please contact us before ordering.

Some small and lightweight items may exceed one or more of Australia Post's shipping dimensions, placing them in a larger parcel category.

We do not offer pick-up or click-and-collect services.

INTERANTIONAL SHIPPING

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.   Especially where there is an existing supplier of the product or the product is an item controlled under ITARS or Defence Export Controls.

Most international customers can complete a purchase and checkout as any normal customer.    There is no need to contact us.

If you reside outside one of the available locations, please contact us for a quote on shipping and options.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are volumetric weight-based. That is, we are charged at the weight calculated for the given size of the goods being shipped, not the actual weight, unless the actual weight is greater that the volumetric weight.    We do try to reduce the cost of shipping where possible to give our customers the best value-for-money.

Goods and Services Tax on Exports

All products sold to an overseas location are "GST Free".   That is that the Australian Goods and Services Tax is not applicable and will be removed at checkout, when you select your country of delivery.    This means that foreign customers pay 10%less than the shown price on the website.   To calculate what you will be paying in Australian Dollars (AUD), simply divide the price by 11 and that amount is the tax component of the price.

Duty GST / VAT in Your Country

In many countries, import duty thresholds have been lowered and local consumption taxes applied.     When buying from an international location, you, the customer, are responsible for paying any taxes, fees or levies incurred when you import a product you have bought from us.

All customs documentation will be labelled with the correct amount paid in Australian Dollars (AUD) and we will not undervalue shipments.

International Returns and Exchanges

These are made in accordance with our Returns and Exchange Policy, however you will be responsible for postage and customs fees and duties.     If you return a product for refund, you are responsible for claiming any Duties, GST or VAT paid to your national revenue organisation when you imported the goods.
