The Combat Engineer is one of the most demanding roles in any Army and requires a lot of specialised equipment, partiularily when dealing with mines and IEDs. The Individual Pull Kit (IPK) was designed by Australian combat engineers for comabt engineers and everyone in between making it the only one of it's kind in Australia. Using years of experience in the MEO, it was created to fill a gap in mission critical equipment. The IPK is for each section member to carry a specially designed pull kit that allows troops to conduct positive action on suspicious items such as doors, windows , attractive items or even explosive hazards. In fact, any "find" you want to interrogate, your IPK can carry the right tools.
With it's small size and light weight of just over 1kg (with contents), the IPK allows for easy use at the dismounted level without getting in the way. Having the ability to be removed from the base of the pouch similar to the issued med pouch, IPK's can be handed or thrown to another member, allowing for multiple kits to be combined while maintaining minimum personnel over the target.
The IPKs ability to have specific specialist equipment selected within it makes it adaptable to every mission set.
Whether you are a Sapper conducting high risk search, an assault pioneer clearing doorways or just wanting to move items that could be booby trapped the IPK is your answer.
