The workhorse of the Carinthia range is the Defence 4. This is the 3 season sleeping bag you wish they issued! The two-way centre zip makes this bag easy to ventilate on hot nights without you rolling out of the bag but helps lock in your warmth on the coldest nights.   Despite it's size, the Defence 4 can be compressed to a smaller size than you'd expect, due to the high-performance of the G-Loft memory insulation.

A protection flap on the outer side of the Defence 4 zipper keeps out wind and wetness. The outer shell is a super-light, highly resistant, microfibre nylon with a fine microporous coating which makes it waterproof. There is a generous draft tube on the inside of the zipper to prevent heat loss at the zipper. Available on 185cm and 200cm size and Olive RAL7013.     The Defence 4 is the only cold weather sleeping bag you need.

    Brought this sleeping bag two weeks ago and it didn’t disappoint me. I have been on two camps, both in cold and windy conditions in Tasmania. I was toasty the whole time, I am extremely happy with the sleeping bag. The centre zip is awesome, makes getting in and out easier. The compression bag was great, I could put the sleeping bag at the bottom of the pack and had heaps of room for extras. The staff at Cool Kit were happy to answer any questions I had.

    Great bag, used it for 10 days on a cold wet ex and I was toasty the whole time. Great customer service as always and very quick shipping. Thanks!
